WORLD CULTURAL HERITAGE SITE

The UNESCO has declared Schönbrunn Palace a World Cultural Heritage Site. The Palace is one of Austria's most important cultural assets and tourist attractions. During the 20th meeting of the World Heritage Committee in December 1996, the palace was added to the registry of world heritage sites, which was started in 1972. The addition of Schönbrunn Palace to this prestigious listing confirms the significance of the Palace and its entire grounds as a baroque Gesamtkunstwerk. We kindly request our concert visitors to respect this setting and treat the palace grounds with care.

No dogs or bicycles are allowed within the palace grounds. Bringing umbrellas to the concert is not allowed due to reasons of safety.
